About the Artist

Cheryl is a natural history artist who lives near Canberra. She paints with watercolour on paper and vellum.

She paints all kinds of things. Australian plants, exotic flowers, fruit, vegetables, and even insects. Lately she's been focused on endangered species, using her art to help people notice and care about them.

Through her painting and teaching, Cheryl wants people to feel curious about the natural world, and to care about looking after it.
